Tired of career politicians destroying Minnesota? So is Justin. It's time to fight back for Maplewood and Little Canada.
Maplewood and Little Canada — two great communities that deserve a fighter in St. Paul, not another career politician.
Less government, lower taxes, safer streets, and better schools. A fierce advocate for small businesses and working families, Justin is running to put people first and bring common sense back to Minnesota.
The 2026 election is our chance to take District 44A back. Every dollar, every door knock, and every vote counts — get involved today.
Focused on the issues that matter most to families, workers, and neighbors in Maplewood and Little Canada.
Reducing government overreach to increase housing supply, defending property rights, and supporting first-time home buyers and working families through opportunity, not mandates — keeping Maplewood and Little Canada affordable and livable for everyone.
Creating more good paying jobs, raising salaries, lowering the sales tax, suspending the gas tax when prices spike, and manufacturing more goods locally to reduce inflation — because real affordability comes from opportunity and free markets, not government handouts.
Reversing harmful ethnic studies mandates in Minnesota, removing cultural identity politics from our classrooms, and restoring a focus on reading, writing, math, tech, trades, and real skills — so every child in Maplewood and Little Canada gets a quality education, not indoctrination.
Protecting patient choice, stopping vaccine mandates, and holding medical organizations and pharmaceutical companies accountable for any harm they cause. Lowering healthcare costs by eliminating fraud, promoting competition, and keeping government bureaucrats out of the doctor's office — so families in Maplewood and Little Canada get the quality care they deserve, not the care government decides they can have.
Cutting taxes and regulations to grow our economy, leveling the playing field so small businesses aren't crushed by the same costly rules and mandates big corporations can absorb — including the Paid Leave Act — and giving real tax relief to local businesses so families in Maplewood and Little Canada have more jobs and better wages.
Protecting our lakes, forests, and wildlife with practical, common-sense, locally driven solutions while responsibly developing our natural and rare earth resources — because real environmental stewardship balances conservation with economic growth, not radical green mandates that drive up costs and kill jobs for working families.
Reversing the failed defund-the-police movement, fully funding our law enforcement, shutting down charitable bail organizations, ending catch-and-release policies, and ensuring criminals are actually prosecuted — because families in Maplewood and Little Canada deserve real public safety, not the failed soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before victims.
Justin Middaugh has called Maplewood home for 19 years. A local contractor and builder, he's spent his career creating things that last — and now he's bringing that same work ethic to District 44A. Justin is married to his amazing wife and together they are raising three daughters, which is exactly why the future of this community matters so deeply to him.
Justin has been a girls basketball coach, an active member of his church, and a volunteer with organizations dedicated to protecting children. When he ran for ISD 622 School Board, he discovered something that changed his life — that serving his community means more to him than any business success.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Justin watched with heartbreak as the city he loves has been transformed by a decade of failed policies. That pain, and his love for Minnesota, is what drove him to run. He's done watching career politicians destroy the state he calls home — and he's ready to fight for the families of Maplewood and Little Canada.

ISD 622 School Board candidate who learned that community service is his calling
I'm not a career politician — I'm a husband, a dad, a coach, and a builder who loves this community. I've watched Minnesota change for the worse over the last ten years and I refuse to stay on the sidelines any longer. District 44A deserves someone who will actually fight for them in St. Paul, and that's exactly what I intend to do.— Justin Middaugh, Candidate for MN House District 44A
